Edward B. Beharry & Co. Ltd. (EBB) was established in 1935 by the late Edward B. Beharry and is now one of the Caribbean's leading companies. It is a holding company with interests in Manufacturing, Insurance, Automotive Sales and Financial Services. EBB has two main locations, the main office and distribution center at the Beharry Building, 191 Charlotte St Lacytown, Georgetown and the processing and bulk distribution facility at 4057 Area Y, Industrial Site, Mandela Avenue, Georgetown, Guyana. The company has one of the most comprehensive distribution networks in Guyana and is aggressively seeking to expand its export activities.

Tradition
The Beharry Group is a family-owned business started six decades ago; as a humble operation with just three employees. Today, the staff population has grown to over 1,500 persons. Three generations of Beharrys now manage this conglomerate guided by a tradition of quality - the Beharry name is literally always on the line, in every product and service offered to the public.

Excellence
Edward B. Beharry & Co. Ltd. strives to be a leader in excellence. The food manufacturing operations already proudly carry the Official Caribbean Authentic Seal and the ISO 9001-2000 Quality Management System certification for the confectionary line. Beharry Automotive Ltd. (BAL) is Guyana's leading supplier of new automobiles; Beharry Stockbrokers Ltd. (BSL) is a founder member of the Guyana Stock Exchange; and companies in which EBB has invested in such as Sterling Products Ltd. and the Guyana Bank for Trade & Industry Ltd. are highly regarded in their own sectors.
