EDWARD B.BEHARRY& CO. LTD. (hereinafter referred to as EBB) was founded in 1935 as a privately owned small-enterprise, it began as an importer, wholesaler and retailer of food products and had incorporated several other agencies into its line of items. In March of 1959, Mr. Edward Beharry took his first of many bold steps when he entered the manufacturing arena: producing Baking Powder.It has since grown to become one of the largest food companies in Guyana and the largest local manufacturer of confectionery, pasta, spices and baking ingredients products. EBB has two main locations, the main office and distribution center at Beharry Bldg., 191 Charlotte St Lacytown, Georgetown and the processing and bulk distribution facility at 4057Area’Y, Industrial Site, Mandela Avenue, Georgetown, Guyana.
